I’m Gabriel Vera, Production Designer and Art Director. I’ve been working non-stop in the animation industry since 2007, 9 of those later years as an art director and production designer. I have collaborated on the following: -16 feature films for Anima Estudios, Huevocartoon, Fotosíntesis, Kooltoon, etc. in different capacities, most recently working on concept art for “Halloweenia” by Anima kitchent. -10 international series for clients such as Netflix, Nickelodeon, Illumination, Adult Swim, Disney, and most recently doing master backgrounds for the Icelandic series “Tulipop”. -3 short films. I have experience in the areas of visual development, backgrounds, layout, character design, props, storyboarding, and art team supervision. Putting all that aside, I am an illustrator at heart. I’ve done marketing artwork for several of the projects I’ve worked on, and I’m starting to get back into painting on canvas and board, which I did for several years before illustration software arrived and changed everything.
